BYDAND CLOSE PROTECTION TRAINING COURSES

Why train with BYDAND?

The private sector has a lack of adequate training for personal protection specialists, and the majority of commercial security training courses merely scratch the surface, and are not suitable for actual operations.

Bydand Security supports this requirement by offering an Advanced Close Protection Course, based on Government standards but adapted to operations in the private industry.

ADVANCED INFORMATION

OVERVIEW

When you choose to become a Close Protection operative you are choosing to be at the top of your game within the private security industry. Once you have secured a place on a training course and you are successful in passing,  you may then secure your SIA Licence and open new doors to your career path.

Our Close Protection training course covers everything that the learner requires  to obtain a SIA licence working in the UK (non-hostile environment). We also offer an advanced course for operators working in hostile environments.

UK Regulations set out in the Private Security Industry Authority (SIA) Act 2001, require all individuals wishing to work in the private security industry to hold a Close Protection Licence.  To obtain this licence, Close Protection Operatives must have attended an accredited Close Protection Level 3 course and they must hold a valid and SIA approved First Aid Qualification/Certificate (such as a First Person on Scene (FPOS) or First Response Emergency Care (FREC3) course) and have passed a criminal background check.
